More tunnels on Ring Road 3 in Oslo.Logo med hatt
The main road system in Oslo is increasingly based on underground solutions. If you come to Oslo by car, from north, east, south or west, you will most likely travel through tunnels before arriving in the city centre. If you try to avoid the centre by using one of the three ring-roads, you will certainly travel through other tunnels.

Today (November 2009) two large and fairly complex projects are under construction:

-        The Bjørvika tunnel project in the downtown area will connect the west and north bound tunnels and at the same time release the new opera area for adverse traffic aspects and establish new areas for city development. 

-        The Ulven - Sinsen project, part of Ring 3, will improve the local environmental conditions and increase the through-traffic capacity. In the following we would like to share with you some project information as part of the NFF series on ongoing domestic activities.
